Price is expected to be around the £1800 (not including flights) mark as Italy is not cheap for accommodation during the summer!

Arrival Airport at Milan will be LIN. Club flight info is due to be confirmed tomorrow afternoon but those of you that will be travelling trans-continental will find that it is a connecting flight from Heathrow (this is why we are using Milan instead of Verona for better connectivity :) ) . The start of the trip is planned for early afternoon from Milan so we can be at Moviepark late afternoon (it is open until 2300 so we will get the chance to get the rides in!). Return flight will be from Naples in the evening going back to Gatwick.

22 out of the 34 credits I still need in Italy and no requirement to drive or plan. Tempting...

£1,800 is more like €2,500 Phil.

It does look a very promising trip indeed. If I weren't scheduled to be in North America at the time, I think i would be signing up :)

However it WILL be very hot. I visited the Naples and Bari area parks (along with the entirely shade-free Pompei) during July a couple of years ago, and it was 38-39 degrees for four consecutive days. It is much less humid than in China, but clear skies make sunburn/stroke much more likely.

AND it's a VERY long drive down to Sicily (and back). The park there will make the journey worthwhile though.

Hope everyone who attends has great fun. Even Richard.
Bring me fun
Bring me sunshine
Bring me love

Martin

...and when Martin says long drive, he knows what he's talking about!

In all seriousness, it's only six and a half hours...
