Hello folks,
2015 we are planning a trip to the following UK parks (never been there before):
1) Brean Leisure Park
2) Beachfield Road Play Park (Ridge Rider)
3) Milky Way Adventure Park
4) Cornwall's Crealy Great Adventure Park
5) Flambards Village Thema Park
6) Kit Hill Park (Ridge Rider)
7) Crealy Devon's Great Adventure Park
8) Waymouth Seafront (Snails)
9) Adventure Wonderland
10) Blackgang Chine
11) Pirates Cove Fun Park
12) Paultons Park
13) Clarence Pier
14) Funland Amusement Park
15) West Sands Fun Fair
16) Harbor Park
17) Brighton Pier
18) Fort Fun Amusement Park
19) Flamingo Park
Now my questions:
a) For better planning: What is a POP park and what is PPR (pay per ride)?
b) The two ridge riders: Is it just a children playground where we can ride this "coaster" for free?
c) Our travel dates are aprox. May 22nd to June 8th. Are there any parks that are not open at that time?
d) Other tips?
Thanks for your help & best regards,
Thomas

You are credit whoring the South coast
Two weeks are way to much time for these parks. You can easily do them in just under a week as long as you are driving.

Hi Talhat,
credit whoring? YES
But with our than-4 years-old daughter we will also spend some time in non-coaster rides like railways, carousels, playgrounds
and a few days in Cornwall.

Re: UK Coaster trip 2015
Thomas,
Okay, it all makes sense now
Nearly all the parks cater for small children so there will be plenty for her to ride.
Cornwall is a nice, you'll enjoy it.
It's been ages since I've been to these parks so would prefer someone else who has been recently to answer your questions.
I'll give it a few more days, if you don't get some replies, then I'll have a go at answering your queries.

I've ridden some ridge riders but sometimes adults in the park give you a dirty look. With your children you should be fine. Hard to describe as a coaster but it is a 'tick' so go for it. The Snails at Weymouth can be a pain to get as they are not always there. Phone number for the attendant is 07530 503537 so may be worth giving him a ring.

Just saw your dates. Snails should be open, certainly at weekends. I do remember getting very excited when I saw then operating, not for the excitement of the ride but for the fact I could tick it off. Weymouth, itself, is one of my favourite seaside resorts. There's a chap who create sand scultures on the beach and his work is fantastic.
