Remember that Alton Towers has single rider que for all coasters. Last year I spent 15 minutes in que for Smiler and the normal que said 90 minutes!

I seem to remember reading that the one on Nemesis is gone now...? Anyone else recall...?

I haven't been to Alton Towers yet this year, so can't comment on current Nemesis single rider status.

However, given the dates of your visit, my view is that fast passes would be HUGELY beneficial at both Alton Towers and Thorpe Park. Blackpool less so, as crowds are much more unpredictable there. So probably entirely reasonable to make the decision on the day.

Lightwater Valley crowds will not be an issue :)
